It's a great, cheap lens! I inherited 2 Nikkor 50mm f/1.4's from my grandfather - they're about 35 years old but it's a fantastic manual lens that I've been using a lot!
the solid, built-like-a-tank old world craftsmanship of the old nikkors -- you would be hard-pressed to find that today.
